I was a fucken cat.

Attetion, Cat Owners:

I have fiendishly devised a plot to force my parents to let me keep a cat. So far, the core of their arguments are weak-willed and easy to destroy. Mainly, they detest cats because

A) cats are dirty
B) cats are expensive to take care of
C) I am not responsible enough to take care of myself, much less another living creature

But I disagree! Cats are probably cleaner than the mice that run around this house. I can save enough money to but comics and Harry Potter books, I can probably save enough to buy cat food. I've kept myself alive for 18 (going on 19) years, and this includes walking around Manila in the dark, going to Quiapo alone, and studying in UP for 1 and a half years. If I can do these things, then a cat that will not leave this house probably doesn't have anything to fear.

And so, in light of these arguments, I would like to have a cat.

So if anyone out there has a cat they want to get rid of, or perhaps your cat gave birth and you'd like to give me a kitten (or, you know, sell me one. But keep in mind that I'm going to be a starving writer when I grow up, and will probably need as much stashed money while I'm young), I'd be more than willing to get it out of your hands.
